A copy of the working files on every protected computer, kept in storage that cannot be changed or deleted, including by someone who has got into your network. We watch the jobs and we know when one fails. Getting files back is billed by the hour, because a restore is real work, and folding it into the monthly would mean charging everyone for something most of them never need.

$49 a month, per QuickBooks company
QuickBooks Online lives on Intuit’s servers, and almost every owner assumes that means it is backed up. It is not, at least not in a way you can roll back to after a bad import, a wrong entry, or someone getting into the account. This keeps a daily copy you can actually restore from. If you run more than one company file, each one needs its own.

Where the line is
Foundation does one job, and it does all of it.
Every computer we cover is watched around the clock, patched inside seven days, and hardened properly the day we set it up. That is where most small-business break-ins actually start, and it is the whole of what $99 buys.
The rest are real jobs of their own. Email and login protection, network security, recovery that is tested before you ever need it, and the $100,000 Breach Warranty each take work Foundation does not do, and they live at the security tiers above this one. Support here runs Monday to Friday, hands-on work is billed by the hour, and businesses on those tiers are answered first.
That is the whole picture, and none of it is a reason to wait. Most businesses this size have nobody watching at all.
Whether it fits
Five computers or fewer, and nobody looking after them today.
Foundation covers up to five computers on the flat rate, and each computer counts as one, so one person with a laptop and a desktop uses two. Above five it is $30 a month for each extra. There is no minimum, so a single machine is fine.
Past about six people, or the moment you need email and login protection, network security, or recovery that has been tested before you need it, Foundation is the wrong tool and we will say so rather than sell it to you. That is a different conversation, and a better one.
