Four levels, and a straight recommendation about which one fits.

They are documented here because you should be able to see what exists and check our thinking against it. We will tell you which one we would put you on and why. The call is yours, and it should be an easy one by the time we have finished.

How the answer gets picked

Three things decide it, and none of them is your budget first.

Budget matters. It is just the last question we ask, not the first.

One

What a day offline costs

A business that can work off paper for a morning needs something different from one where a stopped system means staff sent home and customers turned away.

Two

What you would have to get back

Some businesses could rebuild from scratch in a week. Others have records, books or client files where losing them is the end of the conversation.

Three

Who is already asking

An insurer, a large customer, or a regulator asking what your security looks like changes the answer, because now it has to be provable and not just true.

What exists

Each one is the last one, plus something that matters.

  1. Foundation

$99 a month flat, up to 5 computersWatching, threat protection, patching and hardening on every computer you run. This is the only level with a published price, because $99 is the whole monthly figure. It is also the only one that is not a full security partnership: no email or login protection, no network security, no backup included and no warranty. Hands-on help is charged by the hour. See what Foundation covers.
  2. CyberReady

Adds the two things most small businesses actually get breached through: logins and email locked down properly, and a network that is built, separated and watched rather than whatever the last person left behind. For small teams who need that closed now. Still no backup and no warranty, and we will tell you so plainly rather than let you assume otherwise.
  3. CyberDefended

$100,000 Breach WarrantyAdds recovery that has been tested before you ever need it, covering your computers and the things that live in the cloud rather than on them. This is where the warranty becomes possible, because a promise about a breach means nothing without a restore that has been proven to work. It is where most of the businesses we take on land. How the warranty works.
  4. CyberFortified

$100,000 Breach Warranty, priorityAdds a named person who owns your technology strategy with you, security operations running around the clock, and first place in the queue if something happens. For businesses where technology risk is something the owners or a board already discuss by name.

About the prices

Foundation has a price. The others need a conversation first.

Foundation is $99 a month and that is the whole number. The levels above it are quoted per person, but the monthly figure also depends on how many sites you have and what licensing you already hold, and there is work to do at the start. A per-person number on its own would be a smaller figure than you would actually pay.

You will get the real number in one conversation, with the working shown, and in writing before anything is signed.

That answer, plus how many people and how many machines, is usually enough for us to tell you which of these you need and what it will cost. If the answer is that you do not need us yet, that is what you will hear.
